Rose of Jericho (Selaginella lepidophylla), also known as the resurrection plant. A fascinating plant native to arid regions that has the unique ability to revive multiple times.
How to use it:
To make the Rose of Jericho bloom, add half a centimeter of water to a terracotta saucer (the water temperature will determine the shade of green), and the initially dry branches and leaves will revive before your eyes in just a few minutes. Without water, the plant will return to dormancy: its extreme adaptation to surviving in arid environments allows it to live without water or soil for years. When it comes into contact with water again, it will absorb the liquids, regenerate chlorophyll, and the bulb will turn green. In this way, it can revive multiple times.
